U.S. Treatment of al-Qaeda Prisoners
An International Reality Check

Cry Me A River…

In a world where murderers receive medical care and college education at taxpayer’s expense while victim families go hungry, it is no surprise that the international human rights dilettantes are transforming terrorists into abused victims.

“Human rights groups and British parliamentarians have expressed concern at reports that prisoners were shackled and hooded as they were flown to the Camp X-Ray detention centre at Guantanamo Bay,” laments the BBC.

Cry that river of tears to Johnny Michael Spann, 32, a father of three young children, who was killed by al-Qaeda and Taliban prisoners during the bloody prison uprising near Mazar-i-Sharif.  Spann, an ex-Marine and CIA operative, was at the prison to gather intelligence from the prisoners.

Better yet, why not just load the al-Qaeda prisoners into a Boeing C-17 unrestrained and let the geniuses from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) serve them tea and party cakes.

And Speaking Of Party Cakes…

The International Committee of the Red Cross has objected to the conditions in which the prisoners are reportedly held.

The last anyone knew, there was professed to be enough starvation and disease in Afghanistan to keep the ICRC busy for years.  Why doesn’t the ICRC do its job and go feed some starving Afghans with the $100’s of millions in donations it collects for this very purpose.  Or, similar to the 9/11 money, does the ICRC just wish to take your money and keep it?

Hey, Don’t Forget…

Can’t leave Amnesty International out!

“Amnesty supports the position of the International Committee of the Red Cross that people captured in the Afghan war and held at Guantanamo Bay should be presumed prisoners of war.  We’re concerned that the U.S. is placing these people in Guantanamo Bay in a sort of legal limbo by not having officially charged them with anything and not offering them the most basic legal protection to ensure fairness” said Avner Gidron, a spokesman for Amnesty International.

Where were these jerks when American POW’s were being systematically starved and tortured in the Hanoi Hilton?

And Then There Is The Great American Press Corp…

Again from the BBC, “Jeffrey Kofman, an American journalist who visited the base on Tuesday, said the facility was ‘very, very minimal’.”

Excuse us Mr. Kofman…America would provide more lavish accommodations but the terrorists destroyed too many first class hotel rooms in NYC.

“The cells had concrete floors, wooden roofs and wire mesh walls. Prisoners had a foam mat to sleep on, two towels - one for washing, the other to use as a prayer mat - and some form of chamber pot,” Kofman said.

Sounds a hell of a lot better than the caves they were living in.

Kofman said, “Authorities at the prison told him that the prisoners had been forced to shave their beards for reasons of hygiene.”

The damn murderers had lice.  Perhaps Mr. Kofman would volunteer to spritz these prisoners at the spa in his health club?

Two Cents From The Nobodies…

Jamie Fellner, director of Human Rights Watch’s US Program, said that regardless of whether the prisoners qualify for the extra provisions that POWs are entitled to, they should still be treated “humanely”.

Who the hell is he and what the hell is the Human Rights Watch?

Hey buddy, wake up.  Pentagon spokeswoman Victoria Clark assures the concerned that the terrorist prisoners are being given three “culturally appropriate” meals each day, and are allowed daily exercise, showers and medical treatment…all at American taxpayer expense.

“As a party to the Geneva Conventions, the United States is required to treat every detained combatant humanely, including unlawful combatants. The United States may not pick and choose among them to decide who is entitled to decent treatment,” Fellner said.

You have to love these nobodies who insist…no, DEMAND that the U.S. must do as they say.  As though this guy has ever read the Geneva Conventions.

From Our Faithful Allies…

There is growing unease in Britain over the treatment of detainees at the U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  “These people ... are accused of having been members of the most dangerous terrorist organization which the world has ever seen,” British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw told the British Broadcasting Corp.  “That does not mean for a second that they do not have rights and where they are British citizens it is our responsibility to ensure that they receive those rights,” he said. “Of course, if we regard the conditions as unsatisfactory we will say so.”

Well, bully for you.  Who gives a damn if 3, 4, or 10 of the prisoners are British citizens…they are still enemies of the United States.

Perhaps they should not be shackled, hooded and sedated while in transport by airplane.  After all, we all know how much British based Islamic terrorists enjoy lighting their feet on fire…à la Richard Reid who hid 10 ounces of PETN-based material, a version of the plastic explosive C4 that is very sensitive to heat and friction, in each of his shoes when he boarded Flight 63 in Paris on December 22.

Simple Words From A Simple Nation…

“I do not feel the slightest concern at their treatment. They are being treated vastly better than they treated anybody else,” Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said.

Finally, somebody who recognizes what totally amoral scum these prisoners are!

If the bleeding heart knee-jerk human rights advocates have any memory, they might recall what happened to the U.S. on September 11, 2001.  They might also remember what duplicitous bastards these prisoners can be…à la the murder of Johnny Spann.

Alas, it is sad to realize that all these idiots really care about is justifying their “make believe” jobs in their tax-exempt organizations by perpetually blaming America for everything.

Hopefully, the good citizens of the United States will simply and eloquently reserve two words for these bleeding heart terrorist enablers…Screw You!
